Missing her students but enjoying toddler time!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Yach Family!
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- Trivia nights, being outside, and baking!
What was your least favorite thing about quarantine?
- The school year ending. I am an elementary school teacher in DCSD. The day we learned that we were not returning this year, my heart broke. I know it was necessary, and I am thankful to have everyone stay safe, but it is definitely hard. I miss all of my kids and I am hopeful that we can plan a reunion!
Did you acquire any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
- We have all been learning how to get various things done around the house!
What are some things you did to have fun outside?
- We have so many things in our backyard to keep our toddler busy. A water table, toys, planting in the garden, and playing with our three dogs. We also enjoy a daily walk to the pond to see the ducks!
What was your favorite thing to snack on?
- Right now we are loving berries and smoothies!
What is your favorite memory from quarantine?
- I have been able to spend so much time with my 2-year-old son and focus on my pregnancy. We have also enjoyed getting projects done as a family.
What are you most excited to do after the restrictions are lifted?
- Hug all of my family members and arrange a reunion with all of my students!
What have you learned?
- To be thankful for every single day, there is always something to be thankful for.
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- The ability to stay safe while trying to stay connected virtually.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
- Thank you so much. We weren't sure we would be able to do maternity photos during this time and now we have these :)
