Zoom chats and chalk, cookies and walks!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Christensen Family!
What was your favorite thing about your session?
- We had so much fun at our photo shoot. They made the kids laugh. The kids loved roaring like a dinosaur to scare them. It only took a short time, which is all the kids could handle anyways.
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- We went on daily walks in the neighborhood. The older kids rode their bikes or scooters. We played with chalk, jumped on the trampoline and played tag and duck duck goose. We planted seeds and did yard work.
What was your favorite thing to snack on?
- We have made a lot of yummy treats. Cookies have been a popular choice!
What are some things you did to help you feel connected with others?
- We have a weekly zoom chat with our family on Sunday evenings, and we use Marco Polo to send messages to our friends. Our kids especially, like to do that to stay connected to their friends from school and church. We take walks in the neighborhood and wave to our friends through the window.
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- We are thankful for all the time we were able to spend as a family. Our kids are young and it helped us build stronger connections with them.
