Perfecting those sidewalk chalk art skills and enjoying the opportunity to slow down and make memories!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Butler Family!
What was your favorite thing about your session?
- We didn’t have to leave the house :0)) Sandy and Nikolai were great with the kids and our dogs. We love this idea and are so appreciative to have these memories captured during such a stressful time in everyone's lives.
Is there anything you'd like to say to your photographers?
- Thank you SO MUCH for your kindness, creativity and patience. We always enjoy our sessions with Sandy Puc’ Photography but this one was extra special because we got to work with Sandy herself and also her son Nikolai!
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- Driveway obstacle courses and growing butterflies from caterpillars.
What was your least favorite thing about quarantine?
- My 5 year old not being able to see her friends and teachers. Not being able to go play at the parks. Not being to freely give hugs.
Did you acquire any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
- I learned that I am capable of homeschooling my 5 year old, and that I LOVE to use sidewalk chalk, lol!
What are some things you did to have fun outside?
- Hopscotch, lots of backyard time to get the much needed vitamin D, barefoot walks to the mailbox, lots of driveway chalk art projects.
What are some things you did to help you feel connected with others?
- Parking lot picnics, driveway coffee dates. Lots of FaceTime calls!
What is your favorite memory from quarantine?
- The slowdown of everyday life. No schedules, no appointments we were running late to. Just the time to enjoy life and make memories.
What are you most excited to do after the restrictions are lifted?
- Hug our family and friends!
What have you learned?
- Our community is amazing and we pull together when the small businesses need us.
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- I am the most thankful for my families health and added togetherness we’ve been able to enjoy.
