Update on Porch Portrait Contest
As you know, Sandy Puc' Photography launched porch portrait sessions as our response to COVID-19. We wanted to showcase your families at your homes and document this unprecedented time.
After photographing more than 200 sessions, we were able to donate six truckloads of canned goods to the Valley View Cares Food Pantry and over $4000 to the Mile High United Way through the HelpColoradoNow.org fund!
We had so much fun doing these and saw so many creative, fun ideas so we decided to launch a contest to find the best porch portrait and all proceeds go to charity!
About the Contest
- This Wednesday, June 24th, we are launching a special website dedicated to voting for your favorite porch portraits
- Votes are $1.00 each
- The money from voting goes to HelpColoradoNow.org (through the Mile High United Way) and our goal is to raise $10k. If every family gets 30 votes, we can reach our goal!
- Voting ends July 15th
Please help us reach our goal!
Sandy personally selected her favorite images from each family that represent their personality - so if you participated, go find your family and get voting! Every little bit helps.
We appreciate you all, and can't wait to see which photo wins! Thank you all for your participation!

Dear Friends and Family,
We are excited to launch our 2020 Porch Portrait Contest! Over the last 6 weeks, we have photographed 200+ families all over Colorado. Each family has brought humor, laughter, and especially love to this experience. We are now ready to make this contest live and reach our goal of $10,000.
As a small business owner I, like many, was paralyzed with fear when COVID-19 shut down my business. I toggled between tear-filled days of worry to days full of projects and family time. I am so appreciative of the many clients checking in and helping me get through. I was amazed at the support and love so many offered and thrilled that we were able to start working again with minimal disruption considering what it could have been.
As a studio, we feel very blessed that we were able to use this fundraiser as a way to provide food for families that needed the support and funding to local families who were affected by COVID-19. The Porch Portrait sessions also gave us an opportunity to bring in sales that ultimately helped our company get back on its feet.
We will always be grateful for the love and support we felt during this unprecedented time and for the many families who made this event so special.
We know that many local small businesses are still struggling to get started again and we would love to spread the love! We are asking for donations to make this event even more exciting and in exchange, we will share, rave, post links, and do everything we can to help your business too!
