Welcoming a new baby in the midst of quarantine!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Redell Family!
What was your favorite thing about your session?
- Being at home and the relaxed nature ❤️ Also knowing how historic this will be and what stories we will be able to tell the kids. Sandy thank you so much for capturing this moment in time! Having Jon right as all of this started, our newborn photos were all halted so these are truly priceless to us ❤️
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- Baking muffins with our oldest - she loves to help mom and dad in the kitchen!
What was your least favorite thing about quarantine?
- Having a large family and a newborn was challenging because they weren't able to come and welcome him to the family. They are all still anxiously awaiting until we can be together again.
Did you acquire any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
- With a toddler and a newborn....HA!
What are some things you did to have fun outside?
- Yard work, chalk art and watching our 2 year old discover new things outside.
What was your favorite thing to snack on?
- We loved our fresh fruit snacks as well as cheese and crackers.
What are some things you did to help you feel connected with others?
- Thank goodness for technology! Lots of phone calls and video calls. We also had lots of visits through the window.
What is your favorite memory from quarantine?
- Spending precious time as a new family of four. It was a beautiful chaos.
What are you most excited to do after the restrictions are lifted?
- Take the kids to the brewery, meet up with friends and enjoy a beer together!
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- I am so thankful we are healthy and all under one roof! My husband has been able to work from home, I'm working remotely as a teacher after returning from maternity leave and our kids are keeping us busy!
