Making TikTok videos and catching up on favorite shows!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Poncher Family!
Is there anything you'd like to say to your photographers?
- Thank you for always making us feel comfortable and taking the time to get great photos. We always have a great experience with you all.
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- Catching up on some of our favorite shows, puzzles, and making Tik Tok videos.
What was your least favorite thing about quarantine?
- Not being able to see our parents/grandparents and not being able to see extended family and friends. Home schooling and being away from school was also a challenge.
Did you acquire any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
- The kids have learned to cook and bake!
What are some things you did to have fun outside?
- We did morning walks, bike rides, chalk art, left painted rocks around the neighborhood, and howled every night in honor of our first responders.
What was your favorite thing to snack on?
- Do I have to pick just one? I would say popcorn and fresh fruit.
What are some things you did to help you feel connected with others?
- We did extended family Bingo, friend happy hours and lots of FaceTime/Zoom calls with family and friends.
What is your favorite memory from quarantine?
- Our kids excitement in howling outside each night and nightly family dinners.
What are you most excited to do after the restrictions are lifted?
- Hug our family and friends!
What have you learned?
- We’ve learned that patience and kindness can go a long way and how important it is to not take for granted how blessed we are on a daily basis.
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- Having the opportunity to slow down from our crazy busy lives and enjoy the little things that we have often taken for granted.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
- Being able to document this crazy time with photos is an amazing opportunity for us. Our kids don’t grasp how significant and historical this time is, and we are just happy we will be able to provide them with something to share many years from now.
