Cooking with Grandma and planting a garden!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Hansen Family!
What was your favorite thing about your session?
- It was so easy! Sandy told us exactly where to go and what to do, and every picture came out beautiful
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- Snuggling with our girls and reading them lots and lots of books.
What was your least favorite thing about quarantine?
- We miss taking the kids to fun places like the museum and zoo.
Did you acquire any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
- No, we've been very busy working and taking care of the new baby.
What are some things you did to have fun outside?
- We took a lot of family walks and did a lot of gardening. We had to get our toddler her own garden tool set so she could help dig for worms!
What was your favorite thing to snack on?
- Ice cream sundaes
What are some things you did to help you feel connected with others?
- We talk with our neighbors over the fences and text a whole lot of pictures to family.
What is your favorite memory from quarantine?
- Watching my mother teach her 2 year old granddaughter how to cook.
What are you most excited to do after the restrictions are lifted?
- Leave the kids with my parents, go to a restaurant, and have a slow, quiet meal.
What have you learned?
- That people want nothing more than to help their family, friends, and neighbors when there's is a crisis. Even though we're physically apart, we've never felt closer to our community.
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- We are so grateful to be staying with my parents so they can help keep our toddler entertained and they get to see our newborn grow every day.
