Ice cream, family dinners and golf cart rides!
We've had so much fun photographing these sessions, and every family has had a story to tell, so we decided to do a little interview with each family and post it with our image spotlights.
Meet the Fain Family!
What was your favorite activity during quarantine?
- Baxter and my walks or golf cart rides, just the two of us.
Did you acquire any new hobbies or learn any new skills?
- We participated in the ping pong challenge, we howl at 8:00, we have made some impressive forts, had some epic nerf wars, we have taken a ton of walks, we have had three classrooms going at once, and we have enjoyed some driveway happy hours.
What are some things you did to have fun outside?
- Pickle ball, walks, sidewalk chalk, grilling, golf cart rides, baseball, bike rides, scooters.
What was your favorite thing to snack on?
- We don't normally have ice cream in the house but found ice cream sandwiches a must during quarantine.
What are some things you did to help you feel connected with others?
- Zoom calls, meet up happy hours, driveway visits, and waving to grandparents in their window at Windcrest.
What is your favorite memory from quarantine?
- We have managed to sit together for dinner every night. We can't recall the last time we were able to do that before quarantine.
What have you learned?
- That this time is like no other and with teenagers it has been time together we wouldn't otherwise have. Seeing college that is so soon in our future we are appreciating the forced togetherness.
What are you most thankful for about this time?
- We are very grateful to the essential workers who are keeping the world going. You are the true heroes.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
- Our part is easy, we just stay home. We thank everyone for doing their part. We hope everyone stays healthy.
