I wanted to start out by saying, thank you for supporting my company during this crazy, and unprecedented time. I know that things feel unsettling and many people are nervous about what the future holds. While these are uncertain times, I do know that families are together and that there is joy and love and hope pulsing throughout our homes.
Like many of you, I have been glued to social media and just the other day stumbled upon a wonderful idea that I will now be implementing - Porch Portrait sessions.
Porch Portrait Sessions
Many clients have asked if we will be offering Porch Portraits. We think this is such a beautiful way to document this crazy time in the world, however, we feel it is important to show solidarity with the community and support our front line workers by staying home right now.
A Little About The Session
Cost: For this session, we are asking that you provide a donation to the food bank or a cash donation of your choice that will be giving to the HelpColoradoNow Fund - find out more about that here: https://helpcoloradonow.org/
What it is: We will be coming to your homes for a short 15-20 minute session and photographing your family on your porch, or front yard. We will not be able to enter houses and will still stay at least 6-10 feet from you, we will not be physically posing you, or your children. With that being said, this session is typically best for families with older children. However, we are happy to work with younger children, and we can guide you on how to pose them. These photos will be more lifestyle and natural, so please keep that in mind.
Why: With families all together at home, we thought it would be the perfect time to take the opportunity to come to you and capture this unique time period. We also wanted to do something to give back to the community, as the Easter Charity was cut short.
Safety: As stated above, we will not be coming into homes and maintaining a 6-foot radius from your family. We will text you when we arrive, and meet you in front of your homes. From there, we will give you directions on what to do.
What do I get? With your food bank or monetary donation, you will receive a FREE Session and one 8x10 fully retouched digital image. Your image can be picked from the comfort of your home via an online gallery. If you do want more than your free image, you are welcome to purchase additional images at a discounted price of $25 each (regular price is 3 for $240). Please note - this is NOT required, but an option for those that want more.

What should we wear? The simple answer is...anything. This is a unique time, and we want to capture that. Have you been home in your pj's all day? (I know my family has), wear those! Do you want to dress up and look fancy? Sure! Do you have fun props or things that you did while at home, grab them too! We really just want to capture your family during this time so that you can remember and cherish the moments you have been able to spend with them.

Carolyn Lamberth - Hi Sandy, I had booked a porch session in Aurora, East Quincy Highlands on the 8th of May. I saw on a response to another post that you need more than one family in areas outside of Highlands Ranch/Littleton to sign up in order to come to that area. I posted on my neighborhood FB page and there are people signing up. I'm not sure how to make sure we sign up at same time as schedule calendar isn't always available back to back. One family after I posted signed up on the 11th at 6pm in my area. I can try to change. Can you guide me a bit on how you're doing this?
