2020 Halloween and Santa Charity Event Safety Updates!
2020 has certainly been a year of change but we will not let that stop us from our helping local families put food on the table and supporting Children's Hospital this year as we've done for over 20 years!
Due to the current pandemic, we have made several changes to our upcoming charity events to ensure everyone's safety.
In addition to adding extra time between sessions, having clients text from the car when they arrive and of course, extra cleaning, sanitization, and wearing masks, here are the most important things you need to know:
18th Annual Halloween Charity Event
For 2020 this event will no longer be an Open House. You must book a 15-minute private appointment to attend. We will still have all the fun decorations, haunted house, staff costumes, and lots of yummy treats for the kids, and if you bring a canned food donation you will receive a FREE digital image of your children.
The exciting news is that we will now offer 2 different sets, take 5-10 images, and put them online for you to choose your free digital image. You will also have the option of ordering additional digitals at a special discount of 4 images for $25.
Because we are doing this by appointment, we will be offering this event over a two day period. Normally we see 100-200 children at our open house event, however, this year we will be limited to ONLY 40 spots so please book soon!
22nd Annual Santa Charity Event
We spoke to the big man himself and he insists that our 2020 Santa Charity Event must go on!
Santa has been a studio treasure for over 20 years and he is a close and personal friend to Sandy, so keeping him safe is our first priority. This year we will offer our traditional images without Santa first as well as the adorable images of Santa behind the children as he sneaks up on them.
For the images on Santa's lap, we will require that Santa have a mask on. We know this is less than ideal, but we feel strongly that it will showcase the world today and most importantly keeps Santa as safe as we can while seeing so many children during this six day event. We also request that children older than 2 wear a mask while sitting on his lap as well. Once the portrait is taken, we will have the children step 6 feet away from Santa so he can take his mask off and chat with them.
We appreciate your understanding as Santa has been working with our studio for 21 years and he is turning 84 (million ;)) years old December 24th!
