Boho Chic: Mommy and Me Minis - Denver Family Photographer

Being a Mother is a blessing beyond measure. All too often we are behind the camera and do not realize how important it is to be in portraits with our children.  Sandy Puc' Photography LOVES to capture those special bonds. Each year we produce a special video to celebrate motherhood that includes moms, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and even fur babies, too! 

Over the last few months, we have been purchasing a full line of clothing for mothers, girls, and boys. These are a range of colors in the cream, ivory, soft pastels and muted colors. (Think bohemian chic.) We have purchased sizes to fit women as well as cute hats, flower wreaths, and accessories. Our goal this year is to do the mommy and me series outside in a natural Colorado environment and really capture a breathtaking piece of art that our clients will treasure forever.

WHAT TO BRING

We have a full line of clothing options to choose from, however, with all of the extra time we currently have, you are welcome to do some "retail therapy" and purchase your own perfect outfit. We may even buy/trade for it to add to our collection if it fits with our style.

Moms

Dresses: Although we have a full range of dresses and sizes, we welcome you to purchase a look or fit that best suits your body type. You may also want to wear a pair of spanks if you feel more comfortable with that.  You can also opt to wear a cute pair of jeans, skirt, or another combo that more reflects your style. 

Accessories: We will have a range of cute hats, flower wreaths, and belts but we do recommend that you wear cute boots or sandals in neutral tones. Don't forget fun earrings, bracelets, and necklaces to complete the look!

Girls

We have a full range of dresses in all sizes as well as cute hats and flower wreaths. Please bring sandals or boots as well as anything you want to add to the session.

Boys

We will have khaki pants, cream button-up shirts, vests, and cute hats for the boys. Please bring sandals or boots as well as any shirts, ties, hats, etc that you feel will add to the look.

Props

Please bring anything that reflects the relationship you have with your children. A favorite book, picnic basket, a game you love to play, etc. We really want to personalize this session and capture the love you share together.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This session will be 45-60 min and will be taken at a fun location that includes a small lake and tall grasses. It is located within 20 minutes of our Littleton studio. During the session, we will provide a variety of looks and poses and many of the images will be more artistic and less posed. We want this to be really special and we are excited to see the magic unfold.
